Pretty neat! What part did you do in MS word?

Why stop with MS Word? Use some photo editing software. Even from your low res post, I can get this in about 10 minutes.

What? how does asking if the letters are supposed to be misaligned like that, suggest I have no knowledge of graphics or building? and what am I taking heed of?

Either the orignal evinride plaque has the letters misaligned on purpose and this is an accurate reporduction, or the original didn't have the letters poorly aligned and it's shoddy work? I don't know which, since I've never seen the original plaque.

I may be a crackhead and the johnson plate is the reproduction. I don't know, it was never specified and the low res images don't make it easy to tell at a glance.

If ther happens to be a vinyl graphics place close to you you should stop in. They usually have ton's of scrap that they toss away. Great for small lettering projects and designed for outside use and sun exposure.

I like what you have done.

How much did you actually save as opposed to buying a replacement decal? Will your decal hold up to UV as well as a 'real' one? Sam

Here is a pic of a logo I made using frisket. I cut it out, stuck it on my cowl, then sprayed around it.

I remember frisket from my days as a graphic designer. Frisket is good stuff, liquid frisket sucks, don't use it.
