Concerning the 75 76 and 77 OMC power packs..
On the three or six cylinder motors I noticed the packs wire up the same and are the same part number. I also noticed they both have four sensor wires but only fire three clinders. There is also one bank left open on the packs number 7. What are the odds that this bank with fire a fourth cylinder? Reason I am asking is because I have a V4 with a bad pack but I got a pack for a V3 and V6. The omc part number between the two is off one number but I am hoping the only difference is the labeling on the cover plate.
