I think part of the problem is the websites out there that pay up to $500 for crazy videos. Its just asking people to make stupid videos.

I have seen a bunch of these videos........including the one where the ones mentioned in the article. Those kids got REALLY close to being killed. I also recently saw one where a guys car gets stolen as he is dancing on the trunck......maybe fake but still.

Saw that last night. Hmmmmmmm. When do you actually grow out of that precisely?

The stupidest thing I ever did? Driving to Colorado with my brother, Mrs. QC and our first kid, two years old. Changed drivers at 70 MPH ( we slowed down) somwhere in Utah, around 2:00 AM in a rented mini-van, so we didn't have to stop. We made good time though . . .

Cruise control and a mini-van. The new driver can stand behind you and hold the wheel. You slide out. He slides in . . . I said it was stupid!

Not that "I" would know about this personally ya understand.
But "Hookie Bobbin" was a great sport in the late sixties.
(So I've heard)
Teenagers would stand at a 4 way stop and then duck under the drivers view and take hold of the rear bumper on the snow covered streets in Portland OR.

Then whip lash themselves to slide sideways up to the drivers window at 20-30 MPH (old farts) and wave! Looks on their face priceless.

Hearsay OFCOURSE! <:)

I NEVER did anything stupid when I was a kid. Really.... NOT!!!

I like how the news story tries to blame the music. No one takes responsibility for thier own actions.

LOL that's just becoming fad?? I was ghost riding back in the 80s man! I knew a chick who ghost rided in 1981 (maybe the first?) when her mom's passenger car door opened during a left turn in a grocery store parking lot. And they weren't listening to rap music either cause hardly anyone had heard of it then.

Blaming music for behavior still? Silly, it's about testosterone...

Hey Link, MY FRIENDS did something similar - called it bumper surfing.

THEY also hood surfed - Riding on the hood or roof of a car like it is a surf board. Kids those days - and today, just a different kind of crazy.

Some always survive to continue on the gene pool! 8)

I have to admit that I have done that (Hood Surfed) at 60 mph. Thank Goodness I didn't fall......but what a rush!!!

I am amazed that I am still here after all the Stupid things I did as a kid/teenager. I didn't listen to rap music back in the 80's. Heavy metal, yes. Country, yes.
