Don I have been told that you were the manual genius!!
I have a 1986 140 h/p mercruiser alpha 1
s/n b448787and I need to replace my engine coupler. What I would like to to know which manual I need to buy to get the best information on the outdrive. thanks Jimmy

If you need a manual to replace the coupler, you need the engine manual. I gave you that information in your other post.
Now, if you want the manual for your drive, transom shield and trim, that would be manual #6, PN 9012934--2.
