Not having a clue what the year or model trim you have, I would guess that if the solinoids click and it won't run up or down you have a bad motor on the pump

I have checked my voltages and all appears to be functioning properly. I would like to raise my motor manually but not able to. Is there any thing i can do to get the motor up. Also how can i check the fluid. I have a caution label that states under pressure when motor is in Lowered position. The motor is a Classid Fifty Mecury OUTBOARD.

riverrat, type I trim (the one with a pump mount in the boat) has a knob on the bottom of the pump to release it turn the knob in to release and out to lock. the newer trim has a hole on the starboard side of the tramsom mount, there is a slotted screw, turn it out to release the trim
