Friday, my wife will under go her 5th. surgery in about 10 year's. Her last one was two years ago, which was on her Thyroid, as this one will be, but this time it will be more intensive.
The last one was for a small tumor, but this time it is a much larger mass, which had grown much larger in just the last 6 month's. She advised the surgeon of the returned groth 6 month's ago, he just monitored it. The groth got much larger after the beginning of the monotoring, so a couple of different "scan's" were done, 2 week's ago. When the surgeon saw the result's of the scan's, he told her she needed surgery right away and it will be much more intense that the last one.
The surgeon will have biopsy's done once the tumor is removed and if there is no cancer, that will be great. But...If there is cancer, she will have to under go a second surgery within two or three day's of Friday's. Fortunally, there is no history of cancer in her family blood lines.
Keep your finger's crossed for her.........
