I saw on this site that they were growing. Heck they double their listenership for 10 to 20 people nationwide. Hate speech just doesn't sell.

Oh, you mean that pro American, pro military, pro private enterprise, pro personal responsibility, pro LIFE, pro democracy, pro freedom, spewed every day on conservative radio. It is an upbeat message that inspires, the liberals were pandering to the lowest base emotions for listenership. And it, of course failed.

If this were the case why is conservative radio doing so well? Has anyone with a conservative position joked about killing a president? Nope, just liberals. I guess it is just another liberal experiment doomed for failure. One of many. But fortunately it is just a couple of disadvantaged children in NY that get skrewed not the whole country.

What else is new? They were bankrupt before they even hit the airwaves. The libs just can't figure out why truth sells and lies and prevarications fail!

Like Lenin, the libs think that they can re-invent human nature. They've had enough success in buffaloing people that they think they just need to try harder.

They have become the masters of 'double speak' but by now, too many people have read the book.

Anyway, it was never about a kinder, fairer ideology anyway. It was and is, simply, about POWER. Exactly the opposite of what they preach (and unfortunately suck in so many over thinkers. Need I name names??)

Never a Liddy fan. Sort of a tainted guy by my standards. I don't pay for radio. Although some swear by it. I would have to upgrade my boat stereo if I did. Since I never listened to him, I can't comment as to his comment. (THe one time I did hear him he was giving out advise on love relationships. Not exactly Dr. Ruth.)

I wonder if Stuart Smally got his million in advance. And to quote virtually everything from the Clinton era, What about the children? Air America stole money from needy children, but I guess when you think your message is more important than caring for children, you get financially bankrupt types running a morally bankrupt organization.

I agree with treedancer on that. Air Amerika does not require fiscal soundness. It has many rich fans who have saved it in the past. There is no reason to think that this practice will not continue.
This "news flash" is just their way of asking for funds to keep operating.


But in the odd event that Soros suddenly goes broke or croaks, there is still NPR dying to pick it up. Garison can only be a companion in certain prarie homes....

never heard air america, I have listened to the VOA and radio martini.
that got a bit farfetched as well.
havent listened to them in a long long time.
not real sure where to find it now.
I guess if they are going into bankruptcy its a good thing as thats how capitalism works. if you bring a product to the market and it does not sell its gone.
kinda like pet rocks and robot eggs.
I try not to listen to the far left nor the far right as they tend to believe the only way is their way and if ya dont believe it they can shoot you, or at least say your a lefty or a neo-con.
neither helps.
kinda like why I tried to vote for Ross perot some years ago.
not because I have met him and respect him personally but because he has a proven record of hiring only the most competent and fireing anyone that is not.
my dad worked for EDS for some years in the mid-east and saw heads roll daily.
one screw-up and you were packing bags for the next stateside flight.
and yes I did get to meet him on two occasions .
thats all I hope for out of the next administration, competent leadership that will recognize mistakes and rapidly correct them rather than continue them while saying it aint so.
