All mechanical components seem to be running fine.
We dismantled all electrical components and cleaned, the starter worked initially and now no longer works. Also no spark at any cylinder. Relay clicks.
Do you have any suggestions on how to fix electrical parts that have been submerged in salt water for a day and a half other than rinsing with fresh water, cleaning with electrical parts cleaner and oiling? Thanks for the help, we need it!!

You may be able to ohm them out using the stats in an OEM manual to determine if they are good or bad. Otherwise it looks like a lot of replacement parts. The starter can be rebuilt by any shop that does them. Make sure they know that it is a marine starter.Did you pull the flywheel and rinse everything and dry it good? Did you pull the plugs and crank it over for a long period of time and fill with a lubricant to make sure that all the water was out of your cylinders?

unfortunately, a day and 1/2 in salt water, you probably wasted you time pulling it up. fresh water is bad enough for a quick dunk. but 1 1/2 days in salt is bad.

gump, please give details,
did you get it to start?
did you disconnect ALL connections and clean them?
did you drain the carbs?

what has been done so far and what is happening will give the experts here a better chance of getting you up and running again, there are alot of very good tech's here that are going to give you good advise, but need every detail you can provide.......good luck

The whole lower unit and mid-section should be in good shape. Take care of them - they will sell easily in the spring.

We did disconnect all connections and clean them. We flushed the cylinders with fresh water, then methyl hydrate, then fluid film and mixed gas blowing it through with air and then turn over. The engine never started but we initially had a very faint yellow spark and then no spark. We drained the water and cleaned the starter and relay inside and out and they initially worked and now have stopped too. We ran a jumper cable directly to the positive terminal on the battery to the starter and it still didn't spin. We drained the carbs and cleaned them. flushed the gas lines. cleaned the ignition/throttle box. We have tried removing the flywheel but cannot seem to remove it, so we sprayed and oiled underneath as much as we could. The relay now makes a click, click, click sound. without the relay hooked up the wire from the ignition switch to the relay reads 12 v when the key turns to start. With the relay hooked up it reads about 7v. Is that normal? That's all I can tell yah. Thanks for the help to you all.

are you working with a new battery? you should be getting a voltage reading of at least 11v while cranking, you can use jumper cables straight from a battery + and - with the control harness (big plug on left side of engine) un-plugged and check for spark if the engine runs with the plug disconnected you will have to choke it off

You haven't had it running yet? Unless you are prayed up and very lucky, you don't have a motor anymore. Those bearings in the powerhead may turn, but they are most likely etched and will fail in the future. Maybe you got all the water out, but that's a big maybe.

Sorry for the slow response. Yeh i think ive lost / Sunk the most outboards on this forum. If there a decent motor like my GT 150 or my Yamaha 30 Ill go diving for em bring em up, Clean the carbs take the plugs out and drain all the water out of everything but all my motors are only under for bout an hour tops and its fresh water. If there a useless boat ancor like my Chrysler 105 It stays at the bottom of the lake. If some one wants a free chrysler 105 its still at the bottom of the lake infront of my cottage ;) O theres a old 55 and some other crap 2 Lol. But since it was over a day and salt water his motor is prob screwed.
