95 25hp no spark... What to test?

I had some trouble with the way it was running last week and now I found I have no spark. How do I test things like the spark box, stator, coils etc. Maybe a link to show me how somewhere? Thanks for any help. SB

Start by disconnecting the black/yellow wire from the kill switchs at the switchbox, the switch in the handle shorts out alot
