The picture above was taken in my boat one day on the Amite River Diversion Canal in Louisiana. The canal is a popular waterway with a lot of houses, boat launches, and bars. At each bar/boat launch there is a no wake zone. On the way in that day, we were idling past one of the bars when some swamp fellas notices the ladies in the boat. I idled out of the no wake zone and accelerated to get the boat up on step as they jumped in their boat to chase us down to get a closer look. They caught up to us and started hootin' and hollerin just as we hit the next bar and subsequent no wake zone. I backed off the gas, but they were so preoccupied with the girls that they didn't notice the signs and they blew right by us. There just happened to be a couple wildlife enforcement agents on the dock in front of the bar and they waved the dentally challenged boaters in to pick up their very own costly little piece of paper.
We couldn't help but laugh at their hormone-driven misfortune all the way back to our launch.
