Well . . . here's his first response:

"i bought the boat only in 2004 with trailer,that small loan was paid off, then i took a personal loan with the boat as collateral. the motor i already had and all accesories also. the boat and trailer i cant do much with to my knowledge but the motor and other accesories i am selling ,i am registered owner of boat and trailer but dont have pink , but if someone wants to but it ,for low price they can take it but all i can give is bill of sale and registration, the trim tab had a defect on the hinge and cylinder , "

OK, it's getting better. First he sent me this:

"the bank still has the lienhold on it and pink slip, actually i dont know how to get pink from bank to release interest in boat but i guess i could try, i put more pics in the ad and i am selling all accesories , there is just to much to list right now but we can work out details as i pull parts off boat."

And then this:

"i was going to keep the jack plate but if you want to make offer thats ok too. the main reason i am selling everything is i am saving for an offshore fishing boat, otherwise i would keep the motor , its hard to find just a boat to put it on so i figure i may as well sell the motor and buy fishing boat complete."

He hasn't mentioned the trick pump system yet, or how he mounted them to the old trim tab mounting holes . . . , but hey, I can buy the interior now:

This the line that is currently cracking me up. At first I figured he was lying and indeed running a chop shop, but then I figured "who in that business would bolt two flippin' bilge pumps to a transom at the chine for grins and giggles?"

I still can't get over this thought. "Well I have a defective trim tab, so hmmmmm. I know (light bulb here) I'll use the leftover holes to mount those two bilge pumps I have in my pocket . . ."

I have a responce to a message I sent him about the bilge pumps:
while the trim tab is being replaced ,i filled the holes with sllicone , then mounted 2 bildge pumps for live bait tanks which sat on the swim steps, worked perfect. once the replacement tab gets here i will remove the pumps and reinstall the trim tab, it had a defective hinge assembly.

Why would he mount the bilge pumps outside. He is 100% stupid. If he were 50% stupid, he would mount the bilge pumps inside and run hoses to them.

I think he has defaulted on his loan with the bank. He has the boat hidden from the repo man. In the mean time he is going to strip it and sell what he can and then call the bank and tell them where it can be picked up. I've seen this done before with cars and even houses. The bank is holding the pink slip and will be glad to release it when they are paid their money.
