Tell me about rebuilding an inline six, assuming the cylinder walls are in decent shape. Can you hone and re-ring, are complete rebuild kits available? What about this special set of ring compressors required to load the assembly into the block? What is the percentage of rebuilding these motors...I mean once they lay-down is it usually terminal or can they be worked with?
