I just bought a 275 gallon tank so I can get gas delivered in bulk when the price hits bottom for the winter. 8)

Re: Prices in your area....

bummer, a math mistake on my part, the other day 95 octane as .05 cents per liter and diesel was roughly half that.
it worked out to roughly 16 cents USD per US gallon.
seems beer has gone to almost 50 cents USD per 12 ounce polar ice bottle :(:( woe is me.
however the price of cacique rum is down almost 1 USD to about 4.50 USD a fith.
pack of malboros is up to bout 1.25 USD for a pack of 20.
most eveything else imported is double what it costs in the states.
the AA mag lites sold at walmart for 8.95 go for almost 30.00 USD here, a wilson baseball glove that is 19.95 at kmart is almost 80 USD here.
but I can still buy the carbed 130 yamaha complete with prop, controls and guage package for about 6000 USD the same in a 200 is about 8000 USD.
so while we moan about gas prices the poor venezuelans are moaning about cloths, shoes and even cooking utensils.
a 12" poor quality non-stick skillet with no lid is about 25USD. paid about 12 dollars for a teflon spatula last night that would have been 2.50 or less at wally world.
so its not all good all over. seems most of the world has isues as well.

When I went into town yesterday, it was $2.66 for regular, down from a high around $3.33 a few weeks back. Diesel is finally back down to $2.68, down from its high of over $3.50. For a while there, Biodiesel was considerably cheaper than petro-diesel.

Fuel will remain at about $.50 to $.75 per gal higher than the pre-oil shortage days until after the election.

I suspect another shortage will follow shortly after.

Deja Vue. Didn't I just say that.

Neither party can afford high prices.

Cheapest I've seen around here is about $2.25/gallon. It's about 10 cents a gallon cheaper in the Boston area.

Diesel on the other hand still goes for $2.65 a gallon and up.

$2.29 per gallon here - drive 20 miles, $2.15 - $2.19. However, had enough points at the local grocery store to fill up on their brand of gas at $2.09 per gal. Still cheaper than the $4 per gal in Ghana where minimum wage is $1.50 per day.
