4.3 OMC aftermarket manifolds

I have been shopping onlineand found 2 brands of exhaust manifolds to replace the old one piece oem on my 4.3.
the osco brand is around 1200 bucks.

I found these for 900...Has anyone bought these or know if they are any good?

I Believe that Oscos are cast in Pennsylvania,.............

And,........ GLMs are Chinese......

I just put a set of GLMs on My motor last spring,.......
I like them.......

Thanks Bondo. for 300 cheaper i'll try them...winter project maybe..

There is a used set of OEMs on ebay but i'm kinda scared buying used..

Don't waste your time unless there is some extenuating circumstances. I bought some used ones and it cost me dearly.

BTW I heard that toe OEM versions were around $800 a piece if yo could find them.

I went with OSCO because it was the only way I could go to replace my rear riser OEMs. But I looked at GLM.

The guy that has the oem's on ebay is also listing a whole engine that has milky oil...:^:^
So i'm passing on those manifolds...He also has a 4.3 truck motor for sale that he tried to run in his boat!
Not sure how smart that guy is...LMAO!!

Wonder what happened to the GLM "batwing" replacements they advertised two years ago??

I get a few different parts cast from different foundrys in iron, bronze and alu

And most of the Alu parts we went to CNC out of solid billets because of foundry problems

I have to think that there is a huge core failure rate in the batwing casting

just note the are not for the VORTEC engines. vortecs, valve overlap will suck water back into the cylinder, with these. believe i fought it for a while.
