Somebody 'splain to me what these are called... yesterday I saw a trailer, a flatbed, about 20-24' long made of either aluminum or galvanized metal that had 8 wheels on two axles but not like a semi-trailer, the second set of wheels were on the INSIDE of the suspension. The suspension itself looked to be hydraulic as there were no springs that I could see. The name of the trailer (which my mind has conveniently discarded) had something to do with "suspension" and was written on the fender. Anybody ever seen one of these? What are they for and, most importantly, how do you change the inside tires? I Googled around for it but came up with nutin.

Re: 8 wheeled trailer?

they are small trailers for hauling heavy equipment. some i've seen on construction sites the bed slides back for loading, some just have hydrolic ramps.

Believe Me,..........

An Inside Flat on 1 of those things is Truely a Nightmare if it's Loaded.........:%

They usually have those Open-centered Wheels,... Housetrailer Wheels....
