Saw clips of that. It is not clear to me who started it, but there must have been earlier incidents to trigger such a display of rage.

Maybe they can begin installing mosh pits at stadiums like they do at some punk concert sites and let the anyone that wants to participate beat the pi$$ out of one another out of loyalty to their team or just for the heck of it.Somehow,watching players in full padding and helmets going at it seems like a rediculous display.What ever happened to mature sportsmanship?

A little trash talking, some gesturing, and then the riot. Charges should be filed - swinging a helmet should be an illegal use of force, assault & battery. Also, stomping on people & kicking people with cleats on ... maybe they just found the kids who are beating up the homeless in Ft Lauderdale! Arrest the punks!

This is the third time for Miami in the last seven games. The first two were not this bad.

I thought an ejection for fighting brought about a suspension for the rest of the year and a second suspension brought about a life time ban from NCAA sports.

Just me thin king.

The suspensions were issued by the school's two confrences... look for someone to push the issue with the NCAA. I agree, 1 game is a slap on the hand.

This could seal the fate for Miami's coach.

The Miami program has been made up of thugs for years. Simple answer require a criminal background check before admitting them to the school. Like most universities, sports come first and education second.

Name a University that the President makes more than the head football or for basketball schools the head basketball coach.

Make than major school.
