If so, one way I thought to do it was, to put it in a large bucket with water, and run the lower unit in it.
Why would you even want to do it? The motor is self draining. There shouldn't be any water in it to freeze. Just make sure there is no water in the lower unit gearcase.
Very hard task first of all for engine to suck the antifreeze into motor. After you shut engine down, it will all come out? Right to the exact ounce. it is not recomended for outboards. Only inboard stern drives.
