Seems like the Christians have to beat the scourge of Islam back every 300-400 years or so...
In 1683 Vienna was the center of the world....
The stage is much larger now.....
I think we need an amendment to the Constitution banning the teaching/practice of Islam within U.S. borders........JK

Thanx Eric... long read but it does put paid to the notion that law 3930 will affect Citizens.

I've spent some time reading it. What really sets alarms off for me is that a tremendous amount of procedure, assests, punishment, resources is left up to solely to the discretion of the Sec. of Defence or his designee.

Section 948L pretty much allows the commission total secresy of it's finding and punishments proscribed.

Also read 949L, Issue of Votint and Ruling.

949o Seems to limit 948L a bit.

Most of the rest seems to be to me typical judicial parameters but the broad power given to the Sec of Defence bothers me a bit.

The Habeus Corpus is SubSection VII, Section 7.

Does anyone know of a case where an American citizen can be ruled to be an alien? I'm not a legal scholar but am curious if this is possible. Can the US revoke your citizen status and then declare you an alien?

The bill deifines an Alien as:

(3) ALIEN- The term `alien' means a person who is not a citizen of the United States.

I don't see how your citizenship can be revoked. Unless you are convicted of treason maybe?

So the waiver of Habeus Corpus means that there is no right of review of being charged with this bill if action is brought against you under the blanket of this bill?
