Fell in the bathroom...

I started in the attic, ended up suspended between the ceiling joist and my tub. I knew better, and I knew I should lay some boards or somthing across them while I worked, but because I knew better, I assumed I was immune. I looked down and aimed my foot for a joist and in a split second was dangling from my cieling, no doubt with a surprised look on my face.

The good news is that sheetrock work I had planned for the cieling got moved up!

No injuries, a deep bruise on my arm and across my back, roughly 2"x6"

Wow, a boat with an attic.... not sure I ever heard of one. 8)

Did that in a rental house. Not MY house, but one I was renting. Had an attic, someone had laid wood in the attic, so they could store their shwa-de-vive (their sh*t). I went up there, moved some wood around (first alert, sherlock!!! wood wasn't screwed down!!! Red flag alert!!) to install the wiring and a box for the ceiling fan I was installing. I stand up after doing some work, the board I'm standing on flips up, almost hits me in the face, and through the ceiling I go. Luckily, my entertainment center was UNDER me .. and my foot ended up on that..

And of course, my best bud was over, and after I got extricated, we both laughed for a good 20 minutes..

And the landlord wasn't even pissed. I did a pretty OK job fixing the hole...

Yep its very easy to look like Chevy Chase on Christmas Vacation movie up in the attic !!

two friends(husband and wife) were doing some reroofing for another friend's Grandmother....they had the plywood off the roof when a quick spring storm blew through..it blew him off the roof and her down through the rafters and through the kitchen ceiling...she walked into the living room(dusting herself off) and Granny said "Why Dear - I didn't even see you come in !"8)

When i was a teenager my dad went through the ceiling in my brothers bedroom, app. 3ft in from the door and two feet from the wall while installling ceiling fans to improve the sale price on the house. well about 6 months later we are in the new house and hear a crash from upstairs when we go investigate, there is a hole in my brothers new room app. 3 ftin from the door and two ft from the wall. momm and i found this hilarious dad and my brother however did not see as much humor in it.
