Buffalo Sabres tie NHL record

I know not many of you are hockey fans, but my team, the Buffalo Sabres tied a NHL record of 10 wins to start the season. So a big pat on the back to them. "Let's go Buffalo, let's go!!

(besides my football team, the Bills stink. I need something to cheer for)

It says your from Nebraska. That is a long way from western NY.

I grew up in Tonawanda. Left there 20 years ago, but go back once a yaer to see family. Been a Bills and Sabers fan since the 70's.

Man those guys look great right now. Fast skating and exceptional defense. The puck control reminds me of the Russian 5 the Wings employed in the 96-97 cup run, only much faster. So long as health doesn't become a factor they have a good chance of making a run at the grail this year. Wanna trade for some veteran stars? I'll give ya Hasek back for a bag of used pucks and a broken stick?

You can keep the dominator. Going for 11 in a row tonight.
Yeah they are FAST and the goaltending has been excellent so far.
Injuries is what kept them out of the finals last year, hope it doesn't happen again.

It is a great record. Something to be proud of for sure, takes a lot to be that consistant.

I love to watch hockey, but I'm not real big on the NHL.

I'm a big fan of the AHL.....Milwaukee Admirals, and College........Wisconsin Badgers.
