Well this is probably my first and only possible "troll"

Since we all know Bush and the republicans were resposible for hurricane Katrina.........shouldn't we be thanking them that they didnt make it happen again this year? So thank you Bush and fellow republicans.

Perhaps world class climatologist Al Gore would be happy to explain the lack of hurricanes vs. the abundance the previous year. He is very good at talking to the masses by using terms like Government Hurricane Machine. And the fact that the democrats put it in the "Lock Box" to save "the children".

Or perhaps they were just trying to create fear and discontent last year. Naw, it is a weather machine doing all this.

Sad thing is Bush did good with Hurricanes. The effected states have budget surpluses from all the money received on claims from the West Coast and Northeast which was spent instate creating tax revenue.

Yeah loss of life is always bad but economically Hurricanes are usually a boon for coastal economy.

There is still a month to go.....
They don't want to run the machine so close to an election when they are all ready fixin' to get whooped!
& what TX said, great for the local economies, but the $ comes from somewhere.....
I have an idea!.....
Let's cut taxes & spend more money we don't have:|.....JK

No..no...no...y'all got it all wrong. They messed up on the calculation of where the eye of the storms supposed to be. You see all them storms ended up in the Midwest where there are no ocean to creates hurricane so they turned into rain. It has been raining just about every freaking day here. EVERY FREAKING DAY MAN!:|8)
