Yamaha 4-stroke high thrust models?

Anyone have any of the yamaha 4-stroke high thrust models ..... they come in 60hp, 50hp, 9.9hp and 8 hp, here is a link www.yamaha-motor.com/outboard/products/subcathome/4/home.aspx ..... just wanto hear from someone that tried this motors for comment? .....

i have 9.9, starts on 1 turn every time
love it quite and goes on my 2000 23ft Grady white
a lot of the guys are going to 15 because of the power trim tilt

Everybody loves the 8hp in my area, even on larger hulls (+20') they work great as a trolling motor. Anytime the subject comes up people recommend the yamaha 8hp
5 to 1 over any other brand.

Would you say that the 8hp high thrust is much faster than the normal 8hp? ... I have heard that it is similar to the performance of a 25hp?
