need engine work on 1963 Johnson

Hello,
I am new to this forum as of yesterday. My initial post was regarding a seized 1963 40 hp engine. I am hoping to find some one local to take a look at it. I live just north of Detroit Michigan. Hoping to find some one with experience with older Johnson motors.
Any suggestions?

the best place to find a good mechanic, is to hang around the ramps on busy days, and talk to the other boaters. you'll definately learn who not to go to. here there is only 1 place i will take johnny rude, and 1 for mercs. found about both of them at the ramp.
