I believe that the original Float and Float arm assembly number was 377164. It was also part of a carburetor kit.

You might place the old float in liquid and see if it floats. If it doesn't you probably need #377164 float assembly.About $15.

What you probably bought was an aftermarket kit (like Sierra) which is fine, but often does not have ALL the parts needed.

An OMC/BRP carb kit has it all,and can be bought at your local dealer (as can just the float).

The number we all gave you is the correct number for your rectangle float. It is the Evinrude/Johnson number for the original equipment part. The Sierra website is www.sierramarine.com They sell Sierra right here at iboats, but I don't think Sierra makes the float..

By the way, don't remove the venturis from your carb. They require a special tool to center them over the bores. It will run with them off-center, but might not be top efficiency.
