Hi,
I have a question for Laddies, and don't know how to direct it to him specificly, so hope he reads this. I am thinking of just tossing my Autoblend tank and mixing the fuel. It wouldn't be a big deal since the tank is only 19 gal and I would know the fuel was mixed right. I don't think that led to it's piston problem, but at least I'd know. What are your thoughts on this...............Jerry

I'm not Laddies, but I'll comment anyways...

TOSS THE AUTOBLEND IN THE TRASH

The newer oil injection systems are very reliable, but those Autoblend systems are notorious for having issues. Why risk it.

When did Mercury add oil injection to their motors and exactly when did the Mercury oil injection systems become more reliable. I have a 1993 75HP. Am I safe? How difficult is it to bypass this system or can I just unhook and plug the oil feed line that goes into the gas line under the cowling?
