Windows Movie Maker help

I am trying to capture old Hi8 tapes onto my hard drive using the Hi8 camera and an SVideo cable... and the video is transferring perfectly.

My problem is.. I can't seem to capture the audio.

The audio capture options are:

Mono mix
Stereo mix
SPDIF
Aux
CD Player
Line in
Microphone
Phone line

How do I get the audio to transfer?

I'm a windows movie maker newb and just trying to get camping/fishing videos transferred.

does your patchcord have 2audio jacks (RCA) or at least one?
If so, get an adapter to plug these int the mic port in back of the PC.

the Svideo is for picture only and does not transmit audio.
