I have a 93 model 150 with the VRO still connected. I have noticed the carbs leaking at a plug on the bottom side of each bowl. What is the best way to seal these plugs?
Do to problems lasting into a year now, i am planning on rebuilding the VRO pump, replacing the pulse limiter and rebuiding all carbs.
Once these problems are corrected (or eliminated) I will check into possible electrical problems. I am suspecting the powerpack and maybe the timer base.
Thanks for your input.

My appologies, they are not leaking from the drain plugs. They are leaking from the brass plugs 90 degrees to the right from the drain plug.

Oops, wrong again. They are to the left of the drain plug facing the carbs as they are mounted on the engine.

Very common. And easily fixed. When you clean the carbs, dry that "BB" area with something like Electra Clean. Then a little dab of epoxy will cure the leak. It's common enough that this is a part of any 60* carb rebuild even if the BB isn't leaking now.
