whats a sweet running merc 70 efi w/ powertrim and tilt worth

i got a low hour 1980 mercury 70hp efi off a freind,its was his grand dads.it has power trim and tilt. runs like new and has corfirmed low hr,,whats it worth ? thanks dave.o

It would be worth a bazillion dollars because it would be the only Mercury 2-stroke EFI in existence smaller than a V-6.

I know that you really meant Oil Injected. That would be by way of an AutoBlend unit. My advice would be to remove that and pre-mix your fuel. You should also have the water pump impeller replaced. I would also have the max timing retarded 2 degrees below spec to compensate for today's lower quality gasoline. It could save a piston or two and you'll never notice a difference in power, speed, or running quality. Enjoy!
