It's not off enough to cause a problem but inlet on the top right should be set like the one on the left

Do your RPM's stay high, while the speed is slow? Or are the RPMs low as well?

Re: ARE THE FLOATS CORRECT PICS INCLUNDED

The reason I asked is you mentioned something about the lower unit. IF the RPM's stayed up, then it could have been a spun hub on the prop.

Did you make the adjustment as Laddies suggested? Does priming the bulb while it's runniing change anything?
Have to checked spark and compression?

Have you checked to be sure the timing arm is advancing?

fuel pump diagram looks good no tears if i had a bad one wouldn't it get better if i squeezed the fuel primer..like rev up ??? also would the stator or the electirc apratus under the fly wheel have anything to do with why it only goes 6mph ?????? thanks Erik

Squeezing the primer with reasonable force shouldn't change the motor operation. You might have bad needle valves, or crud in them.

Is it straining trying to go, or just not trying?

Have you cleaned and rebuilt all the carbs? Do you have a manual?

Eric after you have cleaned the carbs makeing sure the high speed jets are clean and have confirmed that the spark advace is working (35 degrees at WOT) that only leaves the high speed winding in the lighting energizer if you need to ck that we can give you the OHM readings. (380 to 420 ohms on the low speed and 9 to11 on the high)
