Yep, big news here in Wisconsin. Apparently the employee in question was fired. Funny they never released this creeps name. Freedom of speech and all that...

Yeah, let's not confuse the company with the FORMER employee. Wutta Putz!

I don't know the position of the company regarding the war, but I wouldn't necessarily condemn them if they chose not to fill the order. They would have that right and I would support that right. Sometimes not supporting the troops is a valid political statement, even though I might not agree with it.

A boycott is uncalled for in my opinion, but I alse respect the right of people not to do business with them. I just think an organized boycott is a little over the top because it would be based on the action of the former employee. The company took appropriate action. That should be adequate.

I agree, I am not willing to condem the business at this point. Employees can act of their own volition.

So the employee was fired. Thats good. I didnt read where the company said it would ship the merchandise. Thats bad. Very bad. Not once did the owner address the servicemans request. I feel a boycot is in order.

Who the heck knows why, but me too . . .

Side note: Why the heck does Willy start out so good and end so bad? I'm gonna call it CPDD (Conflicting Position Deficit Disorder). It must be terribly frustrating to actually be inside that brain :% I think it is a result of inhaling mega doses of Hydrocarbons throughout a lifetime. Yeah, that's it, because I think rodbolt and the Broster have it too . . .

I noticed it too. Ace mechanics that must clearly know how to use logic and properly troubleshoot. That must be what happened to their brains, (the part that would normaly love a great country like ours: and root for our side). JR

It's called Freedom of Speech, QC. You Neocons should look it up sometime. Something about the Bill of Rights. I might not agree with somebody's statement, but I support anybody's right to speak their mind, even if it's not with words. I even believe the KKK has the right to speak their minds, as long as they don't infringe on my right to flip them off.

I have my doubts about the "employee" getting fired.
A local radio show dug into this business. The website and email addresses are all registered to a private individual not a business, and the street address is a single family home. This looks like its a one man operation, with no employees, that just drop ships the merchandise.

Quote from the radio show's blog:
All of the research I have done shows this to be a one or maybe two man operation. A search of the workers compensation database shows no company by that name listed. That means either they don’t pay out over $500 a year to employees, or… they have no employees. I very much doubt the assertion that someone has been fired. The rest of the media has just accepted this story and moved on. I have placed calls today to both Faisal Khetani and Sajid Nasir (the person listed in the article as the vice-president of the company) and have yet to get a phone call back.

Perfect example . . . LOL I suggest you have a problem with conflicting poisitions (CPDD) and you suggest I have a problem with Freedom of Speech . . . WTF? Yes, you have every right to not make any sense :} Still LOLing . . .

Edit: Sorry Willy. It just often feels to this "neo-con" that you paleo-libs get 3 out of 1 + 1 . . . I dunno maybe you're a neo-lib? Or a progresso-soc? Maybe it's progresso-com? nuevo-fasc? Islamo-new? No, no, just got it: Same-o-same-o . . .
