need to find repair manual

hi all
looking for the age of my motor......looked on the internet for a mariner 25ce 695s 250619 on the web site in other threads ......no joy....got water in the lu,need to change seals so need a book

Right here on iBoats -- or see a dealer for the factory service manual. Or, check your local library.

also when i drained the oil outb (thick greyish).....done a pressure test could hear air escaping in the unit....not to good

Yes,you need to reseal the lower unit, also don't waste your money on a aftermarket manual

Plainsman, that motor he has is a 25hp Mariner...

Thier serial numbers are often different than Mercs.

In this case,

Early 80's 25HP Mariner

Serial No. 695S-250619

Parts lists here.

Mercury/Mariner service manual p/n 90- 84681 1
Retails for around 80 bucks at mercurypartsexpress.com
