I got up this morning to go to work and imeadiatly looked outside, sure enough, NO BOAT! There are a few things that have to be put in order and it may take a few days. I have a couple boats picked out, but it depends on if they are sold by when I`m ready. Great time to buy right now. Lot`s of good deals and people are ready to deal. I was and did.
Nothing bigger than a 19' with a single axle trailer. Must have brakes, at least surge brakes as I`m still towing with a 4X4 Ranger 4 liter.
So far I`m looking at a 2000 18' 8" Triton with a 150 Optimax and a 2001 18' 6" Skeeter with a 150 Yamaha.
Hey LubeDude, Don't know how far you are from Portland, but the 'Craigslist' out of that town has some real good deals on it. Obviously it takes time to sort out the airheads from the opportunities on the telephone or email, but you can really get good deals if you have the time and patience. I'm addicted to both the list and iboats, trying to wean myself but it is very hard to do. Good luck JR

Friend of mine has a Skeeter like that one - same color scheme and all (only a johnnyrude on the back). Beautiful boat, and he likes the way it rides and handles.
