Seems like he is more like Hitler then the left like to portray President Bush.

I recall someone on this board praising the way Hugo Chavez was running Venezuela. Are you still planning on moving to your beloved Venezuela, with a dictator running the country, anytime soon?

Funny no one has commented on this Eric. However it is no mystery to me. Chavez is the American Lefts poster boy and this is exactly the position they would like to be in. He is what you would get if you let the Algores, Kerrys, Clintons, Kennedys, Pelosis, Boxers, Reids, et al, run amok.

If any of our left handed brothers do respond, you can bet they will laud the humanitarian redistribution of wealth that Chavez now has a free hand in.

That, of course, will simply validate everything I've been pounding away about the true motives of our lying, prevaricating, socialist Democratic Party.

For the life of me I have no idea where you guys get the idea that Bush Bashers automatically are pro-Hussein, pro-bin Laden, Pro Castro, Pro China, Pro Russia, etc, etc, etc. You allege that somebody here spoke praises of Chavez. The fact that there has been no front page screeching about my President interfering in the affairs of a sovereign country convinces Haut that he is ignoring Chavez.

Another example of a lefty being led about by the nose by the American media.

JB you make a fantastic point. Also, what could Bush do that the left wouldn't bash?

1. If he threatened to overthrow with force, oh well, you know what that gets you from the left.
2. If he puts his nose at all into that country's gov't, they'll bash Bush for sticking his nose where it doesn't belong.
3. If he starts up a dialog, they'll say why can't he do this with Iran?

It's a no win situation for Bush. He did the right thing. Just stay out of it.
