How do i check condinser and coils with meter they look brand new.Its been in shed 10 years.Serial # 5524R08828. Everything else seems to be ok.

Welcome to iboats.
Whatever is wrong is affecting both magnetos. All that they share are the flywheel magnets and the cam on the crank that operates the points. That gives you an advantage in troubleshooting.
Ten years in storage is very likely to dry out the condensors. They are cheap enough. Replace both.
Examine the coils for cracks. Another dry-out possibility. No cracks? Probably good.
With an Ohmmeter, verify that the points are not grounded when open. Set them at .020" when fully open.
Good luck.![]()
