i might be sweatin the small stuff, but this is the stuff i like to do in the winter when i can't be on the water. I am looking for the seal or gasket that goes between the upper and lower motor cover on my outboard. Its the peice of rubber you see when you take the "hood" off.

any advise would be helpfull

They come in two parts, front and rear. Front is part number 305704, superseded by 204866 and rear is part number 305708, superseded by 313173. One is longer that the other one, you can just get two of the longer ones. They are available from your friendly Evinrude or Johnson dealer. Be prepared for severe sticker shock.

Because of that shock, some people just split a piece of fuel hose.
