Re: I think Iran's undies are starting to bind.

Remember a while back when I posted links to the "coincidental" airplane crashes that seemed to take out the upper echelons of the Iranian Military?

I made the speculation that it might be the Mossad in action.... well here it is again.

WASHINGTON — A prize-winning Iranian nuclear scientist has died in mysterious circumstances, according to Radio Farda, which is funded by the U.S. State Department and broadcasts to Iran.

An intelligence source suggested that Ardeshire Hassanpour, 44, a nuclear physicist, had been assassinated by Mossad, the Israeli security service.

Hassanpour worked at a plant in Isfahan where uranium hexafluoride gas is produced. The gas is needed to enrich uranium in another plant at Natanz which has become the focus of concerns that Iran may be developing nuclear weapons.

According to Radio Farda, Iranian reports of Hassanpour’s death emerged on Jan. 21 after a delay of six days, giving the cause as “gas poisoning”. The Iranian reports did not say how or where Hassanpour was poisoned but his death was said to have been announced at a conference on nuclear safety.

Might as well hope that Israel takes care of them 'cause the US has become a paper tiger, thanks to the Libs. They think we can negotiate a resolution.

Ha Ha, no they really don't. They know better, but they would like to see the US fail at any undertaking. Besides, the Libs would say, we have them, why not the Iranians? They're reasonable people, all you have to do is have dialogue with them.:/:/:/

Boom, the US can whip the whole world all at once, all of them against us hands down... no contest, and they know it.

As long as we have someone in the Big House that has the guts to place National Security above popularity, we are OK and in good hands.

I saw the headlines where Iran said they would strike back at our interests if attacked. I thought Duhh.

I think the appropriate response to their statement about the missles able to hit the big ships would be to say:

"Yea, we know where they are. Heads up.. Tomahawk inbound"

I think Boom is right here. We have an enemy within, and Persians have shown real determination. Just ponder Hesbola, and ol' Sadam's experience. We have the firepower Crunch as you say, but not the will. Hope Boom's wrong, but I have seen no evidence of real will power in modern post Vietnam America, where pukes prospered by forcing our defeat, (with zero blow back) and are tryin' ta do it again. Respectfully JR

OMR... I think you sell short the American People based on what you see in the Media.

Now, set down your beverage of choice and swallow as I don't want any law suits for keyboard contamination...

Iran was set to make fantastic claims on the anniversary of the Islamic Revolution, including finding an herbal cure for AIDS, an Israeli news agency reported Sunday.

President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was set to speak of his nation's "great achievements" on Feb. 11, Ynetnews.com reported Sunday, citing the Iranian news agency Fars as its source.

"The Iranian nation will celebrate stabilization and establishment of its nuclear rights during the Ten-Day Dawn [the anniversary of the revolution]," Ahmadinejad was quoted as saying.

Along with the claim of nuclear "rights," Ahmadinejad was set to tout a purported "herbal" cure for AIDS, the news agency Fars reported.

"The drug named 'IMOD' is completely effective and safe with no proven side effects," Iran's Minister of Health Kamran Bagheri Lankarani said.

The report could not be verified.

Yup, both nuts are starting to feel the bind. :p
