How sad. There are tons of videos of US and coalition forces blowing ragheads all the way to Allah and what video does NBC show? The Sky king going down. (which I might add sure looked like a Chinook given I saw two rotors, but that's neither here nor there. )

Why can't they show a video of us shooting a helicopter down? Because our enemy's most sophisticated piece of equipment not furnished by Iran is a Toyota with a 50 cal. in the bed.

I think I'm going to buy Brian Williams a turban for Christmas.

The pictures were taken from an AC130 Specter gunship two and a half miles away. The guys in the picture are setting up a roadside bomb and planning to ambush an American convoy which followed a short while after the pictures were taken. They were setting up for the ambush and were pacing off the distance from the bomb to where the convoy was to pass by.

Turn your sound up. The level of effort these crews put forth to control the enemy's antics is commendable, and their marksmanship with those electronically controlled 40mm cannons is astounding.

CNN is the worst, and viewed all over the world. They made special agreements to doctor the news out of Bagdad in Iraq's favor when Sadam was in charge just to keep access to their "source". They also showed an American GI getting hit by a snipper. Who needs Ajazeera, when we have the BBC, CNN, and NBC. 'course the NYTimes helps out our enemies every chance they get. JR

If you are asking about the video, it was gun camera footage from a C130 Specter.

Ahh yes, thanks crunch. My bad, I reread the original post that had the video in it and it stated that.

What I don't understand is how in the world he was able to stay in the same place in relation to the target. They never moved around it.

Who cares what piece of equipment did it, the scum got what they deserved. And I am sure that once locked on a target, they can stay on it, it's called a computer.
