I have not been able to pull the parts break down on my motor, a 1988 Johnson 120hp (model J120TLCCA), from the BRP website. I was wondering if anyone could help with the part number for the tilt/trim limit/indicator switch that is mounted under the power head on the mounting plate. The tilt /trim indicator on the dash gives flaky to no readings at all, I ohmed this switch out and it seems to be shot out. Thanks very much for your help.

Re: Help with a part number

The gauge gets its signal from the "Sending unit assembly" which is mounted on the inside of the port transom bracket.

It is a variable resistance unit.

If that is the part of which you are speaking, the part number is 583359. It is shown as #84 on the "mid-section" diagram.

Copy this link without the quotation marks and give it a minute at each stop. Their server seems really busy recently.
