Ya know folks, fluctuations in most things do in fact ocurr, (and not only in stock/bond/commodity markets). Sometimes the fluctuations are counter to the trend, sometimes in sync to a new high or new low to extend the trend. I do cornsider myself a Cornservative n' I do listen to and enjoy Country and Western music as well as many other types o' music. I find C&W music to usually be positive, patriotic and uplifting, (Bro Haut correctly pointed out that there is an empty part o' the C&W glass: where the tear in your bear stuff also exists [like ol' Hank et al] which I do acknowledge: me Bro). That said, most Cornservatives, (like 12Footer, Pointer, myself n' many others), will likely not purchase or support the Chicks due to their poor choices and as a specific cornsequence o' their freedom of speech; which most all of us agree: they have. Are the Chicks talented entertainers? I for one think so. Has the win with the Libs n' their Lib Grammy awards helped the Chicks sell cds? Why yes. Does that change the trend in their cd sales, n' concerts? Not likely. So the trend will likely continue: IMHO, might be wrong: as it is hard to know the future. If the Chicks exercised discretion and kept their mouths shut would they be in better shape with their cd sales? Absolutely. How about the Lib's Grammys? The trend there is also down, (viewership et al). Ol' Al? He may win but his movie, (which I paid ta see), did not sell very well, (n' was a fairly cornvincin' piece o' propaganda for Kool Aid drinkers). N' fact the Oscars have their own negative trend ta deal with. The trend I'm talkin' 'bout is bigger then the Chicks. Check out ol' ABC,CBS,NBC,CNN,MSNBC,NYT,WP et al. There is a PROFOUND trend that is playin' out for all ta see. Hard tellin' where it will end up, but I: for one, have a cautiously optomistic outlook, (probably the Cornservative in me). My $.02, not that you needed it, as the other Cornservatives do a real good job here on iboats. JR8)8)
