Nah, they played it off as a big joke (him announcing) . . . hmmmmm. Anyway, basically the whole dern place worshiped the guy. It was, burp, uh, nauseating . . . They gave an Oscar to the song just to get him on the stage. Leo loves him like a stand in daddy, "Mr. Gore?" "Yes, Leo", blechhhh. All the pretty heads nodding up and down.

I was reading in the L.A. Times a few months ago about a guy that runs a "green" limo service. His fleet is almost exclusively hybrids etc. Many of his repeat customers are the Hollyweirds, so at least some of the people, some of the time, are consistent. With that said, I wonder how many Stretch Hummers were waiting outside . . . :}
