click the yellow box where it says bbCode, a box will appear in the upper left, back space the line clear, hit paste, then ok for each picture,

I would say - yes the stringers should run all the way through. Cutting them at the bulkhead would create a "breakpoint" at the very middle of the boat. When stringers cross a bulkhead, somethings has to be cut, but I would cut the bulkhead as it takes the lightest load, and glass all the pieces in between the stringers, will hold up just fine. Awfull lot of stringers in that boat, btw.

Re: PICS

That boat looks like it has a ton of extra weight added to it. I would cut them all out...grind out the fiberglass that wa attached to them.

Now that you would have a clean slate to start with, I would make no more than three stringers that run the length of the boat. I would also make them out of plywood (3/4 inch.). If you want to go all out, you can make them out of two 1/2 inch plywood stringers laminated together (I have seen that), but I wouldn't. I would just make three stringers out of 3/4 inch plywood that run the length of the boat.

Another thing you can do is tack on strips of plywood to the top portion of the stringer, so that the floor has more area to attach too. Also try and do all of the new floor without using any screws...screws makes a place for water to eventually find and get into. Lay new fiberglass mat soaked in resin on top of the stringers (after they are coated in resin and glassed to the hull!) so that the new floor has a good solid connection to the hull. Don't forget about fillets either, you'll need those to get good strong joints. Good Luck!

Re: PICS

Thank you all for the advice. And Thank you Boomyal for posting the pics. Now then,I should only have 3 stringers?
If I was to use the two 1/2" ply laminate, what type of glue or adhisive should I use?And since there is a channel(KEEL?)in the center for draining purposes would it be wise to enlarge the bilge? What about using pvc pipe,6"o.d., cut in half to act as a center stringer? The boat is only a 14ftr.But do not want it to sink.So I am going to use pour in foam :^ .Better to be safe than sorry.

What weight of mat should be used?Everything is now a"clean slate" but I want to add one to two layers of glass to the hull before the stringers to be safe.Do the stringers need to be glassed on to the hull while the hull resin is still wet or could they be done another time after hull has dried? You mentioned fillets, what are fillets? Are they the foam, caulking or?
