Yes it is a 1978 Bronco and it is my plow truck. Nice short wheelbase and plenty of power.

I had 8-10 robins pecking around on the snow here at Casa del Stevieray last week - would have made a neat picture, but couldn't find the camera :|

Re: Spring is for the birds!!

I havent seen many birds lately, but then again I havent been looking for them. I think maybe the birds here dont like 2ft of slushy snow and freezing rain.....

Re: Spring is for the birds!!

What an embarrassing update!! My wife Jennifer was home today and took this photo. The embarrassing part is my wife's dog!! Jenn had put the dog outside on his run and he went about his business..... then he saw the birds in the driveway. The dog's reaction was to put his ears back and hide in the entrance way to the house!! My wife said all he did was peer around the wall at the birds. No barking just a shy confused look my wife said.

Being from the midwest, I miss the robins.

Here in AZ, we have the Cactus Wrens that are active and the White Wing and Mourning Doves. I thought "Cooo's" were supposed be calming.:/

Their calls (all) are quite loud. There is NO sleeping in, with the window open.

The Grackles are just plain annoying-24/7/365

Their calls (all) are quite loud. There is NO sleeping in, with the window open.

We also have numerous varieties of humming birds come through. I have a fountain, in the backyard. It is entertaining (at dawn) to watch the H-birds bathe in the water sprout. They are really interesting. They will fly to within a foot of my face and look me over.

It never ceases to amaze me at how those little creatures can fly so far, so fast. Some of them, going through AZ are on a 4000 mile trip.:^

They make the start of my day-GREAT!.
