laingsoutboards.com has most of the general maint. parts, even saws it has the water pump kit. i like dealing with them, because if you have a question, you get a real person, and not some kid in a phone room. the slight extra cost is worth the service. don't rip you on shipping.

hey guys im back, i got my new water pump .. started it up run good ,i shut it off. cleaned out the boat , was going to take her out , i was going to start it one more time befor i went out . and now it will not start ,if i choke it it will fire and then it will start for a second. it spits and sputters ... im lost... help

POINTS ARE NEW SET @.20. GOOD FIRE @ BOTH PLUGS , BUT STLL, TOP CYLINDER IS DEAD!!!

What's the compression in that cylinder that won't fire. If the spark is good and you have compression, it should fire.
