POWER TRIM WIRING DIAGRAMS ??

HELP... MOTOR INFO
MODEL : 983285 SERIAL: J291629

I NEED THE WIRING SCHEMATICS, PICTURE, ECT. FOR HOOKING UP THE POWER TRIM SWITCH.
THERE ARE 2 WIRES... BLUE - UP
AND GREEN -DOWN. THE TRIM WORKS FINE WHEN HOOKED DIRECTLY TO THE BATTERY BUT WE CAN NOT GET THE SWITCH TO WORK. IT IS BRAND NEW AND HAS 3 WIRES BLUE, GREEN & BLACK. WE JUST GOT 2 NEW SOLENOIDS. ALMEIDAENTERPRIS@AOL.COM

What make are we talking about here?
Merc, Volvo......
The switch is brand new?
Have you tested the wires to the switch for continuity?
For power?
You need to make sure that power is getting to the switch & back again........

FROM WHAT HUBBY IS SAYING... TRIM MOTOR HAS TWO WIRES -GREEN WIRE AND A BLUE WIRE, BLUE GOES ON POSITIVE AND GREEN ON NEGATIVE AND IT TRIMS UP, TAKE WIRES OFF THEN GREEN ON POSITIVE AND BLUE ON NEGATIVE AND IT TRIMS DOWN... HOW DO WE WIRE THE TRIM MOTOR TO WORK ? I HAVE A BRAND NEW TRIM SWITCH AND 2 NEW SOLENOIDS , SO I KNOW THOSE ARE GOOD.I FOUND A PICTURE OF A WIRING DIAGRAM THAT SAID TO USE THE 2 SOLENOIDS. THE MOTOR IS AN OMC SEA DRIVE ON A PROLINE BOAT.

I WAS WRONG ON THE MOTOR INFO HERE IS THE COORECT INFO
THE MOTOR IS A 1983 OMC STERNDRIVE
MODEL: 2BBLCTR
SERIAL: J78501
115 HP 2 STROKE.

Sorry, I am not an OMC guy but there are those here who are & will be familiar with your particular set-up....
You should amend your topic header to include 'OMC', & that should get the attention of the right people.....

This is really and Outboard. You should repost this on the Johnson Evinrude forum about five sections up ^^^^^ . This is a unique animal, however it is basically a JohnnyRude with an integrated transom bracket thing that doubles as the trim and tilt . . Good luck, and welcome as mi compadre My Duck has noted! ^^^^^^^^^

Edit: Make sure to call it a SeaDrive not a sterndrive as they will kick you back down here . . .

Not sure exactly what your working on but there should be a red power wire going to the trim switch.Then the green wire completes the circuit for "up" and the blue wire for "down"

It's an OUTBOARD guys, NOT a sterndrive.
He is using the wrong terminology on it.
