Never thought to ask if anyone has a parts list for a 1961 Johnson 40Hp...

Hello All,

I would love to have someone upload a parts list for a 1961 Johnson Outboard 40Hp. I have never even thought to ask. It would be extremely beneficial with referencing numbers to see if I can still get them and such. Most online sites do not go before 1968, so I would like to be able to see if my parts are the same...Thanks,

these guy say they have every diagram. their online goes to 1970. but contact them, maybe they can help. you know do away with the quotes.

They will surely have it and more.

I did check on crowleymarine and they only have up to 1970. So I will ask at aomci and see if anyone has one. Thanks for your help!

I don't need a manual, I need the parts list for the motor. So when I do need something i can reference it and know what part to ask for. I need the parts diaghrams for the whole motor. Can you help?

P.S. I have a manual for repairing it, but it is a Clymer and does not give part numbers!

What you are looking for is a part's manual. That has the proper discription of the part, plus the part number. I have full sets of these manuals going back to the early 1950's. These set's are complete, and I don't want to break them up. If you can give me the section of the engine you want, I can make you a copy.

I kinda want the whole engine...I know it soundslike a big request..but if you had a digital camera, then take pictures of each page and then you could email them to me....

Just found a Factory Parts Catalog for my 1968 Johnson 100HP on eBay yesterday. I recall seeing one for 40HP but do not know what year. You may want to check it out.

I DID get a manual for a 1962 Evinrude 40 Hp outboard....so thanks to everyone for helping in this matter. Someone was able to get it to me and if anyone else needs one, now I can help the next guy so either add a post on here or email me...psinnider@hotmail.com. I'll try and help anyway I can.
