1999 200 ox66 fuel injected

well bought a reman powerhead transfered everything to new powerhead went to start back fires through exhaust after spins a few times the motor is on tdc and the cps is adjusted to specs motor has 120 psi per cyl notice the sparkplugs are gas fouled have good spark too

hey the timing is off 10 degrees according to timing light whats the next step to solve this problem

u can not set timing unless u are in the water

FULL ADVANCE IN WATER
23 +/- 2

RPM IN NEUTRAL, IN WATER
730 +/- 30

well this motor will not start up so how can i check the timing

first u need to make sure your at TDC which u say u are
the cps tests fine
how about the TPS
i would test all triggers/pulsers
test coils
test stator

well i took everything off a running motor to start with had a noise inside later found out was top bearing transfered everything put just like it was on othere powerhead and now this
