These are what I found: Marprox Sealer 1000, Boat Armor Sealer 1000, and 3M Scotch-grip Rubber and Gasket Ashesive #847.

I don't use anything on mine. Works just fine.

Either product is hazardous, so better to get it at the local dealer and save the shipping charge.

Permatex has aviation form-a-gasket sealant that comes in a small jar with a brush in the lid. That works well on marine applications. You can get it at farm and auto supply establishments.

NAPA auto parts has the permatex form-a-gasket. It works fine.... Swipe a little on all the threads when you put the bolts back in too. Keeps them secure and they are easy to remove next time...
