force 50 hp

I have 2 force 50 hp motors, 1 has # on clamp bracket mdl.507R8C S#1340. Stamped in top of powerheadM490960, 2nd motors only has # stamped in powerhead S248144. Anyone know yr. of motors? thanks

507R8C is a 1988 version C

I have no idea on the second one.

A service manual would have one.You might find a manual at the library. Broke boats.com has lots of outboard info including color codes and terminal connections.

I have a complete Seloc Publications TuneUp and Repair Manual for all Force models 1984-1988. I will PDF the appendix with all the diagrams and email them to you if you would like...

Anyone happen to have a TuneUp & Repair Manual for a Force 50? It's on a 1989 Bayliner Cobra.

Just bought it, My First Boat and would like to get to know it better.
