year of glassmaster boat? pics added

I'm trying to find the year of my glassmaster boat it is a v hull. I keep reading about the hull id number all i can find is a serial number 07008D can anybody help theres not much info on glassmaster web page. the only thing i can think of is the boat is older than 1972 maybe that is why it doesnt have a hull id number. Anybody have any clues?

i checked Fiberglassics.com they don't have anything. try posting a picture, maybe we can date it.

Looks to be early 70ish to me. Glassmasters are real common here in the south but there is little to no good info on their history on the internet. The original company apparently went under without leaving a history to be told. That's sad IMHO.
I've been thinking of founding a Classic Glassmaster boat club. I love mine and grew up seeing all sorts of them on the local lakes...driven by civilians and game wardens alike.8)

PS, that Merc looks to be an early 70's model too. Probably the original.

will do! The motor is a 1970 also. I just wish it would warm up here so i can take her out !!!

[It is a 115 mercury 1150 thunderbolt. I haven't done a compression check on it yet will do when the weather warms up. I am curious to see what kind of reading i will get it has a few minor problems hard to start someone had adjustment all screwed up it would't run wide open i looked at the carbs when i had it wide open and they were only opened about a quarter i bought a seloc book because i just dont want to start turning screws like someone else has already done i will say that it did run pretty good for being out of whack once she gets going my gps read 35mph

had a 1350, the nature of these beast is they are gas hungry when cold. the easiest way i learned to start mine is. pump the bulb till hard, then set it on the splash well and put a good bit of body pressure on it. choke and crank 3 time, repump the bulb choke and it usually started, play with the choke it i starts to warm up and settle down.

I think i narrowed down the year of my boat 1969 glassmaster daytona. I did a search on ebay and found someone has an ad for sale. The boat pictured in it looks just like mine says 1969 glassmaster daytona.

Thanks for ur posts and im also trying to find out what year and what make my glassmaster is i do know it is a tri hull and the serial number is 97247XF and not sure what year and im guessing that it is 18'. so if u all can help me i would appreciate it.
