Darn it, tasha already killed the email address! Sometimes it's funny to see how long you can string them out if you have nothing better to do ..........
Guy at work had one email him back and forth for several weeks trying to get money sent to Africa.
I had similar e-mails ... I reported to a RCMP scam site ... they do the follow up. One thing for sure is NOT to e-mail em back because then they know they have a valid e-mail address. Basicaly they try to get enough personal information to access your bank account. Better tell your friend to beware.
I am ready to send a "cashiers check" sight unseen for this ship. Of course it will be a for a little more than the asking price. Please immediately wire me back the overage via Western Union as soon as you get the check. Oh, I'm a Christian, a member of some govenment agency who gave up finding a relative, a bank employee and very trusting otherwise I would not send you this valid "cashiers check"
Well perhaps he is serious about the matter. Nobody mentioned HE had made an illegal move yet ? Just sounds odd ... could even be a filty rich owner that has this boat in Africa and for some reason doe'nt want to get back out there nor want to bring the boat back ...who knows. Would have been interesting in knowing more ....
Tohatsu got the idea and obviously knows about the Nigeria scam .... LOL
